Peachy Den Drops Upcycled Capsule

LONDON — Twelve ladylike, lacy garments made from antique cotton doilies and deconstructed button downs are set to be sold exclusively at Peachy Den’s new Shoreditch pop-up opening on April 11.

“In celebration and recognition of female craftsmanship and skill, we looked to breathe new life into vintage handmade pieces,” said the brand’s founder and creative director, Isabella Weatherby, citing artist Rose English’s work as a key reference point.

For the first capsule from the brand’s upcycling series Peachy Preserve, each piece is named after an elderly relative from Peachy Den’s team of 12 London-based women in a nod to Weatherby’s recent revisiting of her grandmother’s wardrobe.

“I’ve been looking at a lot of what my grandmother wore when I was growing up,” she explained, adding, “There was a lot of polka dots!”

Ranging from 80 to 125 pounds, the drop will be available to purchase at the pop-up, which will showcase a wide array of pieces from the label as well as those from other London-based, female-owned brands.

Items aren’t limited to clothing — the shop also features a curation of books by Send Books, with titles including “The Erotic Arts” and “Night Philosophy.”

With community at the brand’s heart, it only makes sense that a five-per-side soccer team, Peachy FC, is in the works. Weatherby teased that teammates will include model and influencer Ocean Lewis as well as a member of girl group Say Now.

Peachy Den launched in 2019 and has gained a cult following for its sexy and stylish skirt and top sets, worn together or as separates. Peachy Den’s fans include Bella Hadid, Nicola Peltz Beckham and Kaia Gerber.
