Madonna brought old-school pop style to the front row during New York Fashion Week on Tuesday. The singer and fashion icon was seated in the front row of the Luar fashion show alongside such celebrities as Ice Spice for the fashion house’s spring 2025 collection showcase.
For the NYFW show, Madonna opted for a coatdress in a shade of camel with exaggerated, boxy shoulders. The “Like a Virgin” singer paired the double-breasted look with black fishnet stockings and thigh-high black boots.
The singer continued the black leather motif, wearing a pair of opera gloves to coordinate with her footwear. The combination of the boots, gloves and fishnet stockings offered a stark contrast to the camel-hued coatdress.
As for her accessories, Madonna wore a few pieces of jewelry, including layers of necklaces and a statement ring on the outside of her glove, and carried a black top-handle bag. She finished off the look with a pair of bold sunglasses.
For decades, Madonna’s pop star style prowess has set the tone for so many of her fashion statements. The icon’s approach to fashion has always worked in tandem with the various stages of her career, offering surprises and style combinations that work upon execution.
For NYFW, Madonna seamlessly blended high-fashion elements for her front row appearance with pieces that feel quintessential to her pop star style, marrying old-school elements with contemporary qualities like exaggerated shoulders, a coatdress and black fishnet stockings.
