Jessica Alba made the case for puff sleeves on Wednesday while appearing on “Today” in New York. The actress and entrepreneur stopped by to promote the new season of her show “Honest Renovations,” which debuts on Roku on Friday.
Alba selected a floral powder blue Sabina Bilenko dress featuring a beaded plunging neckline. She accessorized with black cat-eye sunglasses, a white top-handle purse and matching pumps.
Wearing her highlighted brunette tresses in waves, Alba’s makeup consisted of winged eyeliner, mauve blush and a matching glossy lip.
Speaking to host Hoda Kotb, Alba discussed her decision to step down as chief creative officer of The Honest Company, which she cofounded in 2011. The eco-friendly brand sells baby and beauty products.
“After we went public, I knew it needed a different type of leadership,” Alba said. “For me this is just a new phase. I’m taking a more hands-on approach with my kids because I worked so much during their childhood.”
Alba shares three children: Honor, Haven and Hayes, with film producer Cash Warren, who she married in 2008.
“Honest Renovations” follows Alba and her best friend Lizzy Mathis as they renovate homes across the country.
“There’s so much negativity and I just wanted to put something out there that makes people smile,” Alba explained. “You can laugh with us, you can cry with us and you feel good when you watch the show. We really wanted people to just get a little slice of the beauty of this country and highlight these incredible families.”
