GTC: Li Auto unveils MindVLA autonomous driving architecture

Li Auto believes that the generative AI-infused architecture will prove a key enabler of its SAE Level 4 autonomy ambitions. By Stewart Burnett

Chinese premium hybrid automaker Li Auto has unveiled its new autonomous driving architecture, MindVLA, at Nvidia’s GTC 2025 event. Chief Executive Li Jiang stated that the architecture will redefine autonomous driving in the same manner that the iPhone 4 did for smartphones: “MindVLA is here, so is fully autonomous driving truly still far away?”
