In an exploration beyond your home’s four walls, Sarah Ellison, designer and founder of ELLISON STUDIOS, is pioneering indoor comfort and style with her debut outdoor collection created exclusively in partnership with DWR North America. Instead of starting from scratch, Ellison has reengineered her existing indoor designs, transforming them into durable pieces capable of withstanding the elements. This self-referential approach allows her to serve up beautiful, versatile furniture for entertainment al fresco.

Muse Outdoor Sofa
The collection includes reimagined versions of the Muse Sofa and Alva Chair. Originally available in velvet and linen blends, the updated Muse Outdoor Sofa now features quick dry foam filling, outdoor grade fabric, and a durable galvanized frame. Similarly, the Alva Outdoor Lounge Chair has been reimagined with these features and a powder-coated steel frame to support its oversized cushions.

The Arch Outdoor Dining Chair, originally upholstered and foam-padded, has been remade in UV-resistant molded plastic for outdoor use. To round out the collection, there’s the Earth Outdoor Coffee Table and the Earth Outdoor Cocktail Table, which are all constructed from concrete in replacement of the oak wood used in the indoor versions.

Ellison demonstrates restraint and a deep understanding that when expanding a collection, a simple material update can be more transformative than reinvention when the concept is already sculptural, functional, beautiful – and lovable.
