Brooke Shields Channels Schoolgirl Style in Thom Browne Skirt Suit on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’

Brooke Shields will appear on CBS’ “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on Wednesday to promote her new memoir, “Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old.” Out now, the model and actress’ book deals with the topic of aging.

For her talk show appearance, Shields selected a gray Thom Browne suit consisting of a single-breasted blazer and a pleated miniskirt. A crisp white button-down, sheer tights and a pair of black pumps completed her look.

The former Calvin Klein spokesmodel wore her brunette tresses in waves, while her makeup consisted of tan eye shadow and a mauve lip.

Shields also wore Thom Browne on Monday for an appearance on “Good Morning America.” She wore a gray pantsuit and tie by the American designer, accessorizing with silver heels and a quilted Chanel flap bag. Speaking to host Robin Roberts, Shields explained how living in the present and looking forward to the future has helped her approach aging.

“It’s important to do that in this era of a woman’s life, you know the beauty industry wants us to chase youth, we look at regrets, and I think it’s important to understand where you’ve been, but I think it’s really joyous to say, ‘I may not know where I’m going, but I’m here,’” said Shields, who turns 60 this year.

“This is a different age than it used to be,” she continued. “The opportunities are different, and yeah I want to look my best and I want to be healthy, but I think it’s important to pat yourself on the back and say ‘What do you want to do now?’”

Aging also inspired Shields to create her own line of hair care products for women older than 40. Commence launched in June 2024.

“When I hit this age, I had a sense of accomplishment, but also this excitement that there is more to look forward to,” Shields told Beauty Inc in May. “I wanted this optimism to be something that we all shared with regards to how we age.”
