Linda Farrow’s Holiday Collection Says Goodbye Gingerbread, Hello Gummy Bears

LONDON — Candy canes, gingerbread houses, cookies for Santa: Christmas comes with plenty of sweet treats, but Linda Farrow’s latest holiday collection looked to gummy bears — a treat less traveled by — for inspiration.

The accessories brand has released limited colorways of five of its most popular styles alongside five color-coordinated candy bears.

“Over the years our holiday bears have become collectable items for our VIP clients, injecting a bit of the playful Linda Farrow spirit into the Christmas shopping experience,” said Simon Jablon, the brand’s creative director and chief executive officer.

“This year we’ve produced five colorways inspired by candy bears, which can also double as festive decorations for your home,” he added.

The pale pink Celia glasses coordinate with the crystalline Mila bear; the Nieve glasses and Esme bear come in a blazing ruby red, and the Calthrope’s emerald green lenses match the Eko pair oh-so-well.

Just over 20 years ago Jablon came across a cache of his mother Linda Farrow’s original eyewear designs dating back to the ‘70s, which led him to revive her accessories brand.

Since then, Linda Farrow has become a fixture on the runways with collaborations with Dries Van Noten, Jacquemus, Magda Butrym, The Attico and more.

According to the brand, the accessories company has been growing at a rate of more than 80 percent year-on-year since the pandemic and is on course to maintain that growth rate this year.

The collection’s holiday bears are all priced at $130, while sunglasses range from $495 for the Paloma Hexagons to $750 for the Celia Oversized. The collection is available to purchase at lindafarrow.com.
