Saoirse Ronan attended the Los Angeles premiere of her new film “The Outrun” on Thursday, wearing a vibrant blue minidress. The Oscar-nominated actress stars in the film and is also one of its producers.
For the occasion, Ronan opted for a runway design courtesy of Louis Vuitton‘s cruise 2025 collection. The actress’ minidress featured a billowing silhouette with a bubble hemline, an asymmetric neckline and one puffy sleeve in vibrant blue.
Ronan completed her look with sheer black tights and pointed-toe black heels. Her hair was styled in a sleek look by Adir Abergel, and her natural makeup, featuring bold brows, was done by artist Nina Park. She accessorized with glittering silver cuff earrings, and her look was curated by Danielle Goldberg.
Ronan’s look made its runway debut during Louis Vuitton’s cruise 2025 show during Paris Resort Week last May. Designed by the French luxury fashion house’s artistic director of women’s collections Nicolas Ghesquière, the collection featured “a distinct Spanish flavor, with a ‘sombra y sol’ palette that played out in monochrome silhouettes, many topped with graphic sombrero hats,” WWD’s Joelle Diderich wrote in her review of the collection.
“He sprinkled flamenco-inspired polka dots and glossy fringe into his signature architectural looks, but steered well clear of pastiche.”
Ronan was named an ambassador to Louis Vuitton last January. “I have admired Saoirse’s career for many years now; I find her totally captivating in the roles she plays,” Ghesquière said of the actress. “What’s more, behind her talent lies such a charming and bright person.”
Prior to her addition to Louis Vuitton’s roster of A-list ambassadors, the actress was a guest of Ghesquière at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles in December 2023. She was also seated in the front row of Louis Vuitton’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear show last October. Ronan joins house ambassadors Zendaya and Cate Blanchett, among others.
Based on the 2016 memoir of the same name by Amy Liptrot, “The Outrun” follows Rona, played by Ronan, who must come to terms with her turbulent past. In order to heal, she returns to Scotland’s Orkney Islands where she grew up. The film releases in theaters Friday.
