Kamala Harris meant business on Thursday while attending her campaign rally in Largo, Md. She was joined by President Joe Biden, who just hours before met with stars of “The West Wing” at the White House in Washington, D.C.
The Democratic nominee for president sported a taupe blazer with peak lapels and matching pleated trousers. Harris paired her suit with a black top and a gold chainlink necklace, completing her look with sharp pumps.
Earlier in the day, Melissa Fitzgerald and Mary McCormack stopped by the White House to promote their new book, “What’s Next,” a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show. They were also joined by Martin Sheen, who portrayed President Josiah Bartlet on Aaron Sorkin’s hit political drama.
Fitzgerald selected a short-sleeve white dress with black trim, accessorizing with black round-toe pumps, while McCormack sported a taupe blazer, a tank top and a palm tree print skirt.
Sheen, meanwhile, suited up in a black jacket and trousers, pairing them with a blue checkered button-up and a navy tie.
“What’s Next: A Backstage Pass to The West Wing, Its Cast and Crew, and Its Enduring Legacy of Service,” out now, features a foreword by Sorkin and an introduction by Allison Janney, who also appeared on the show.
“The West Wing” ran on NBC from 1999 to 2006. The series, which won 26 Emmy Awards, followed staffers within the fictional administration of President Bartlet. Lyn Paolo, whose other notable credits include “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” and “Almost Famous,” served as the show’s costume designer. She also costumed the cast of another acclaimed political drama, ABC’s “Scandal” starring Kerry Washington.
